Programmable Precision Dip Coater (1-200 mm/min) for Substrate up to 10"x12" - PTL-200

PTL-200 is a Precision Dip Coater for coating samples with a size up to 10"x12" from the liquid solution. The ball screw pulling system and 6"x4" Color PLC controller offer smooth, vibration-free travel in both directions. Pulling rate, immersion rate, dwell time, and cycling time is fully programmable. A polypropylene tank is included to hold the liquid solution. You may order a larger tank as optional to coat larger samples up to 12"x24".

  • If a larger immersion tank (that no longer fits in the working platform) is needed for the operation, a customized extended panel holder can be installed to the dip coater to compensate for the distance needed to reach the immersion tank.

Application Notes
  • In order to get better film coating, the substrate shall be treated by plasma cleaner (Please click on the first picture below for more information)
  • Use an ultrasonic processor to disperse nanopowder or homogenize solution to get better coating (Please click on the second picture below for more information)
  • You may click the picture below -right to order a large dip coater in a dry oven
  • You may put the coater into the fume-hood ( pic below right 2)
