Mayer Rod (Wire Wound Type), Included

• Material: SS304 (SS316 is available upon request)
  
• Mayer rod diameter: 10 mm (for installation)
• Wire groove diameter:  6 um, 8 um, 10 um, 12 um,15 um, 20 um, 25 um, 30 um, 40 um, 50 um, 60 um, 80 um, 100 um, 150 um, and 200 um are available upon request (we only provide one size in the standard package). The real coating thickness is also related to the slurry properties. 
• Theoretically the dry coating thickness T = 0.5 * (wire groove diameter) * (transfer coefficient) * (solid-state content); Normally the transfer coefficient is in 0.5-0.7 and we will choose 0.6 as a typical value. 
• Minimum coating width: 200 mm (other coating width is available upon request)
• The precise digital thickness gauge (EQ-DTG) can be used to measure the electrode sheet thickness

• If customer want to add an unit to adjusting the pressure on the Mayer rod during coating, we can do the customization as shown below:

Doctor Blade Head (Included)

• A 150 mm width doctor blade (KTQ-150S-B) is used to apply regular blade coating function on this machine

Slot Die Head (upgrade function)

• If customer want to combine the slot die coating function on this coater, a new gantry should be designed to compatible with the slot die coating head.
•  A 200 mm width (opening mouth) slot die coating head with SUS630 material is provided. The inner channel volume is 2 mL.   
• 0.02, 0.04, and 0.06 thickness shims will be provided. Other thickness are available upon request. 

Substrate

• Rigid substrates, such ITO, FTO. Max. thickness is <3.2 mm
• Flexible substrate, such as ITO or FTO on PET
