1800°C Bench-Top Muffle Furnace (6x6x6", 3.6L) w/ Kanthal Super-1900 Heating Elements - KSL-1800X-KA

KSL-1800X-KA-UL is a bench-top ultra-high temperature muffle furnace built by Kanthal HT (1900 grade) MoSi2 heating elements with Max working temperature of 1800°C. It is ready to pass all safety tests worldwide.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Furnace Structure
  • Double shell steel case with a cooling fan to keep outside surface cool
  • High purity alumina fiber insulation for max. energy saving
  • ZrO2 ceramic liner can stand at working temperature up to 2200°C
  • All electric components are UL or Met recognized and ready to pass any safety test worldwide
Power
  • AC 208V-240V single phase, 50/60 Hz (50A air breaker required)
  • 4.8 KW
  • 10 feet long 10-3 AWG heavy duty UL approved power cable is included
  • Extra length cable can be ordered by click the picture below
  • The plug is not included. You can order from your local hardware store according to the female plug in your lab, or order from the link below (30A plug)
Working Temperature
  • 1800° C (< 1 hour)
  • 1750° C (continuous)

  • 0~10°C / min (suggestion =< 5°C)

  • RS485 port is built-in for PC operation
  • Operation software is included for PC operation.
  • Brand new laptop with Microsoft Windows 10 with pre-installed software is available upon request.
Compliance

  • NRTL or CSA certification is available at the extra cost
Application Notes
  • For longer service life, we recommend the heating rate not to exceed 10 °C /min.
  • The cooling rate shall also not exceed 10 °C /min. 
  • This furnace lacks vacuum sealing, toxic or explosive gases are not recommended for use with this furnace without necessary safety controls and supervision. 
  • Small cracks may appear on the surface of the refractory ceramics over extended use. This is a normal occurrence and the cracks may be repaired with alumina coating.
